Even if you are below 16 years of age you still have the same right to confidentiality as anyone else as stipulated in Abortion Act 1967. Health professionals may need to involve other services if they believe you, or another person could be at significant risk of harm (such as physical or sexual abuse) but you will always remain fully informed.
